I'm not feeling confident today, so will be happy if we can get anything at all from this one.
My feeling as well.

I'd be grateful for a draw.

As I always would at Everton, regardless of whether we were 6th or 16th.

Was it before the West Brom game that the players had a secret meeting and decided to go out on the pitch and put things right?

I'm hoping that the senior players get together aagain and resolve to play their hearts out to stay up in the remaining games. The players know we can beat Everton. They are good enough and should go out looking for the three points. Hearts and heads up. Lets stay in this league.

1-2 Villa. Bent and Young. UTV always.

I work with a couple of Everton fans and they actually think we'll beat them. Can't see it myself, think a 1-1 draw is the most likely outcome, but I'll be ecstatic with 3 points if we get them. Running out of games now, so the sooner we can get points on the board the less pressure there'll be when it comes to the crunch.

I'll admit I've never been to the crunch. Not even on a day trip!

Would take a point right now....Villa never cease to surprise me though so 3 points wouldn't shock me...come on...

Doubtful, along with Coleman and Rodwell.  So knowing our luck they'll all be fit.

From the BBC:

Everton striker Louis Saha is likely to miss the rest of the season after undergoing ankle surgery.

The Toffees are already without Mikel Arteta, Jose Baxter and Marouane Fellaini, while Jack Rodwell, Tim Cahill and Seamus Coleman are doubts.

Sounds too good to be true.  Maybe the Beeb thought they were playing Blues instead.  (The jammy bastards).

A heavy 4 - 0 loss and the final nail in GHou and GMac fooking awful time here.

I would rather have GHou and GMac in the dressing room sending them out for battle than you.
Go out shopping for the afternoon, no point you stopping in to follow it is there ?

The Everton fan i spoke to at work yesterday is worried. "You're our bogey team" he said. I didn't realise it but with that in mind i'm going for a draw.

Exactly.  Bloody defeatists.  Houllier would never entertain such a negative approach.   :'(

We usually get outplayed by Everton but don't lose, see the 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 2-2, 1-0, we were outplayed in all of those but didn't lose. They're due a bit of luck against us and when you're down there everything goes against you so i'm going for 2-1 to them. Fortunately for us Wigan have got Spurs, West Ham have got Man Utd, Albion have got Liverpool etc so those around us won't be getting much either tom

Does anyone know if we sold out in the end?
West Ham are beating Man Utd. Know it is only early but shows how much we need these points. Come on Villa .........
