South Africa could be the No.1 Test team by the time they arrive next summer, which sets us up nicely to beat them and regain it.

Me and my big mouth!
If we get tied down by their spinners we could lose this easily.

Rubbish i am afraid...........This should be a big wake up call and KP, Patel, Bopara and Keiswetter have been very poor

That's a bit harsh after recent one day performances. The current group of England players in all forms of cricket is resilient and has always bounced back from a defeat. Let's see what happens in the next game.

We will see but we were completely outplayed in all aspects of the game and to lose by 125 runs is poor

For the first 25 overs we were very good. Swann and Dernbach bowled well. In the later stages, our attack struggled in the oppresive heat.

Time will tell but things are not as bad as you are suggesting.

I wouldn't go massively over the top, but Patel is not good enough.

I agree. Monty is a credible alternative but he is a liability in the field and with the bat so in the one day team they pick portly Samit who at least knows which end of the bat to hold.
