Bad light again. Truly stupid and indefensible.

Agreed, I'm 4 miles away and the light is perfectly fine and my floodlights are rubbish.

Brilliant from Cooky, unlucky he didn't get his 300 but fantastic innings.

I doubt it, but if he did it would smell of roses.

A question for anyone actually at the ground.

Is this as dull as its sounding on the radio ?
I've been watching this all day, it's been great.

Gutted for Cook, to be so close to 300. And he's back on the field already - take note, Sehwag!

What a beauty.  Christ almighty that's gotta hurt.  Fielding forever and bat for two deliveries.

Good! Suits his attitude; his teammates must hate him. All that time stropping off the field or lazily fielding.

Remains to be seen how the second innings goes but apart from Dravid and Kumar none of the Indians have looked remotely interested in this series.  I guess with all the money they make from the IPL and domestic endorsements, Test cricket is something of a long, boring and difficult distraction.

I think Tendulkar has cared, just not been in good form.

Maybe.  His body language, wandering around along the boundary, hasn't been good.  He hasn't looked particularly engaged with it to me.
