Looks as though this was lifted directly from page 2 of the 'Hope' topic on the General's thread.  Only difference is on there the General says "kick ass", which the media have turned into "kick the crap out of" - which gives a completely different meaning to what the General was saying, and reinforces his caution in posting anything.
