Ferguson punished son's sacking - Lindsay

Preston North End chairman Maurice Lindsay has told BBC sport that his side "paid the price for terminating the contract" of Sir Alex Ferguson's son.

The Lilywhites sacked Darren Ferguson in December and his dad immediately recalled loan players Joshua King and Ritchie de Laet to Old Trafford.

The duo were due to be available to Preston for their next two games but United exercised a clause allowing them an early recall.

But unlike any other ban issued by the FA it seems The redcunts can choose when he serves it - he has brought the ban forward so that he will be back in the dug out for the match at the Emirates

IF i get nicked tonight and have to serve a sentence i will just let them know when i am free to do it - laughable
