I'm starting to think that perhaps a back-line of:

Walker  Makoun   Petrov   Delph

wouldn't be TERRIBLE if we become desperate. I think I'd rather have experience than the promised 'talent' of the likes of Baker and Lowry, no disrespect to them of course.

I think that is unequivocally the worst suggestion I have ever heard in my life.

Petrov at centre half? I don't think so somehow.

Petrov as a CH?

I've heard it all now

he can't even play as a midfielder

I'd play Barry Bannan in central defence before Petrov to be honest.  I'd probably just go three at the back and ask them to all spread out a bit and run faster before getting Stan involved.

However, it wouldn't suprise me if Houllier has considered it.

It will be a miracle if anybody on here calls the starting 11 correctly.

Agreed. You can bank on Friedel, Walker, Downing, Young, Makoun and Bent starting and be fairly confident on Reo Coker and Cuellar, after that it's anybody's guess.

Is Clarke available ?  If so I's swap him and Baker but otherwise thats the best team we can pick imho.

That team looks as good as anything we have played all season (except. Delph for NRC) Really like the the 3-1 odds of 12-1. So my prediction is guess ?  3-1 Bent Downing Albrighton. Doyle for them .......
