3-0 Bent, Makoun and Gabby. My first trip to VP since Everton last season, can't wait. Is the Holte pub/suite still just for season ticket holders or can anybody go in?

Anyone, get there early. Although I've never been.

No defenders but they have no attackers of note, so it is down to who has enough bottle (obvious gag involving Collins and Dunne avoided) so scrappy 1-0 win with Bent the obvious scorer!

Any news on the defence yet?

Cuellar, Clark and Collins out, with Luke and Dunne doubtful. Is that about where we are at the moment?

Luke Young is out? Cockfosters!
Right so. That's Baker or Delph at left back then.

Thanks again must go to Stephen Warnock for being a little weasel in this time where we really could do without it. Fuck you, you scouse arsehole.

Well we get to welcome Phil Dowd back to Villa Park.

I've been waiting for this, he is such a prick. I looked at the fixtures last night and thought we would probably get 12 points from the remaining fixtures, with this being a win. But with that cock in the middle you never know what's going to happen.

2-1 tackles flying in from all angles and a tense finish.

Why have I got a nagging feeling that he'll start with Pires?

Agree, he'll certainly do something "left field" and we'll all be going WTF !! at 2pm on Saturday
It's virtually impossible to guess his starting 11.
Even Bradley might be in there.

Big game for big points.    Cannot see us keeping a clean sheet.

Hoping for 2.1  - I think it could be 2.2

Bloody hate this game almost as much as the Blues one, 3-2 to us, Downing, Bent, Clark
Clark is suspended I believe
I knew he was suspended and still had him down to score, rookie mistake

Still think we ballsed up by not buying a left back in the window.

I'm sure we'd liked to have done. Perhaps there's a target lined up for the summer and it was deemed a calculated risk to crack on with what we've got.
It was disappointing though. I felt we really needed a new keeper too as a matter of urgency but, oh well, it was still better than I thought it would be.

Baker will be fine there
