pretty much the final nail in Little's coffin

Thankfully, we left at 4 nil and missed Savo walking to the Villa end and spitting at the Villa fans ( I think he missed)

That wasn't the Cup though, no? I was just referring to disappointing Cup defeats when we thought it was our year - and I'm not including bloody Moscow. Or At Madrid. Or Barcelona. Or Juventus. Actually, seems that I am.
