Great news, I've seen enough of him to think he's gonna be an excellent player for us

Good stuff.

Look forward to seeing him in the centre, in tandem with Makoun.

Unfair.
Delph is doing a temporary job at left back and he seems level headed enough to not let it spoil his confidence.

yea, im sure nathan delfouneso thinks the same thing as people slate him for not being great on the right wing...

i am sick to death of playing players out of position, and while delphs is through necessity, and my comment was more tongue in cheek than serious (youre not really to know that on the interweb mind), i really wish we didnt have managers who think that "oh, i know, if we wedge in those squares into circle holes, they will fit tighter"...

but this gripe is not for this thread...

good news about delphs contract, not that it means much these days, but good news nonetheless...

I think the score doesn't really reflect his performance last night, if he can play like that in the LB position the imagine what he can do in the middle of the park!

Delph is a quality footballer, uses the ball well and is a good competitor and is the right age. Makoun. Delph and Bannan could be great for us in the middle, with Albrighton Downing and Bent up top when Ashley goes next season.

He was one of the few bright spots last night.   I hope that's not damning with faint praise.
