There is a version of this in the Sun today that puts a new spin on the signing him without a manager theory. He is quoted as saying he thought MON was going to be his manager but he quit the day after he signed.

Maybe he meant to say Birmingham city are crap - joking aside the guy has burnt all his bridges here now and we need to cut our losses and get whatever we can to get rid of him.

Clearly a fruit cake and has now completely burned his bridges with Villa.  The problem is he's still on our books - and if he doesn't put a shift in at Newcastle who the hell is going to take him off our hands?

How anyone could've thought that this would end up any other way is beyond me.

All the signs were there.

I feel no sympathy for him what-so-ever. He's an ungrateful little shit who doesn't deserve to be part of a fantastic club such as Aston Villa.

He's clearly an egotistical moron who thinks that because he won a footballing award he should be treated like fucking Royalty.

And as others have said, it's a shame because deep down he has some real footballing talent, and on a good day he was an outstanding player ... but let's face it, who wants him at Aston Villa now?

I sure as fuck don't.

I hope he crashes his stupid fucking car into a bus full of fatties.

PS. Birmingham's a crap city? I assume he hasn't wandered in to Newcastle after 5:00 pm then. Fucking slap headed fruit loop.
This.

But the "car into bus of fatties" part is mean though.  They don't deserved that.

Typical footballer - no introspection and never occurs to him to wander if he could have done anything better himself.

He'll be living off that one season at Man City, and what a living it will be, for the rest of his career.

He's a fucking little egit. Fair enough the timing of MON leaving straight after being signed wasnt good, but he put no fucking effort in. Remember the loss to Bburn? Pires come on and did more running in 20 mins than he did in 70, that tells you something. "I was the best player in practise". Houllier isnt liked at the moment, but if he really was that good, Houllier would have played him. He never even made the fucking effort in a Villa shirt and i hope his career tailspins to the lower leagues quickly. What a waste of talent. Never liked him til he signed for Villa, it was all "me me me". Fuck him
