All the lads will be rested and fresh
there's massive competition for places in the midfield so no complacency there.
GH has had time to drill into them how he wants the game played etc
And Blackburn are predictable and limited-we are not

I hope during our time off they've been thoroughly practising getting the ball in the box early and creating chances, we have'nt done this anywhere near enough this season, especially since signing Bent

We desperately need a win and i think we'll get one, comfortable 2-0 to us until we gift them a goal in the last minute and hang on for dear life. 2-1 Villa.

Oh goody it's Blackburn again.   ::)   Nailed on draw this for me.  1-1.

We beat them in the cups and they beat us in the league, i've gotta bad feeling about this one.

My thoughts exactly.

Yeah I don't get this.

We routinely turn them over in the cups, won both league cup semis and also the FA cup ties. I know they don't put out their strongest team but then neither do we seeing as the Fonz and Pires both scored in the last game.

And yet they've won their last 3 league games against us?!

I don't see them posing much of a threat from open play but given how poor Friedel was at Ewood Park and for that Fulham corner, then him dealing with Pedersen's corners isn't filling me with a huge amount of confidence.

I think the main anomaly in there is the home game from last season, which was all very half arsed as fourth was gone.

Anyone got a HQ version of the Bent and Ash picture on the front of the new H&V?

Nah, Hotlips confirmed on Pravda the other day that he had given the squad a few days off to pull their sacks out and chill.

3-1 Bent x2 and Gabby. Dunn for them.

Really need to get behind the lads for this one as it's a massive game for us, we need to lift them, get them going.
Just hope it's not half empty and dead!

Anybody else bit worried? If we fail to win this one we are right in the shite...

Lose and will the moronic lot in the Holte start chanting 'Sacked in the morning' after screaming for Houllier to 'give us a wave' a few weeks ago?

No excuses, we have to win.

Anybody else bit worried?
With a defence like ours, you have to be worried.
When we take the lead i'm always shivering like a shitting dog, waiting for the inevitable equaliser.

That's the DTs, nothing to do with the Villa.
