A good point was made on Radio Five's World Football Phone-in during the night (if you've never listened, it's always one of the more intelligent and interesting footie phone-ins, so try it on iplayer). The point was made that English football fans are well known for grumbling about ticket prices, but then paying up anyway. I know damn well that if Villa were in the final we'd moan like fuck about the price but sell our grandmas in the end to find the money for the ticket.
If there's one thing that makes me metaphorically bite off my nose to spite my face when buying tickets for anything, it's admin fees.
