All those lottery tickets I bought have finally paid off. GB sport owes me. I'll settle for Sexual Heptathlon with Jessica Ennis or Kinky Keirin with Victoria Pendleton.

This Olympics has been bloody brilliant for a number of reasons, one of which is my kids have spent hours racing on their bikes in the back alley having watched the efforts of our cyclists. Unfortunately the closing ceremony tonight is looking like its going to be spectacularly awful, I hold all those who were clamouring for Beckham to be involved personally responsible for the appearance of the fucking Spice Girls this evening.

I don't have any problem with the Spice Girls appearing at the Closing Ceremony, so long as live crocodiles appear too.

The mass attraction to Victoria Pendleton puzzles me.

Much prefer Rebecca Romero.

Interesting indeed.
Also interesting was a stat on the BBC the other night - no white sprinter has *ever* run 100m in less than 10 seconds.
OK, so apart from that French bloke, no white sprinter has ever - officially - run a sub 10 seconds 100 metres.
I'm pretty sure that's what the BBC in fact said, and I was just talking bollocks.

I have a few friends who frequent a nice little pub in Earls Court who'd be happy to meet you upstairs. Make sure you wear a nice frock though. :-)

It has been absolutely brilliant.

Wonderful opening ceremony so much better than Beijing.
Even more medals than the ones we got in Beijing.
Much better genuinly enthusiatic crowds than in Beijing.
But most of all the much better BBC coverage for just one reason............................

Boing Boing, remember Beijing ? Good job he left the Beeb, the whole thing could have been ruined.........

Well done Great Britain. For excellent organisation and the 65 medals. Well played the Gb athletes and Seb and Co.
