Track & field events seem to dominate, but watching the divers, bloody hell, can't think of any sport that would petrify me more.

Me either.  You wouldn't even get me up there, let along doing a fucking handstand at the edge.

And none of them slipped off the edge.  I watched most of those bloody dives over the last 2 nights with no absolute howlers.

Grrrr

Greg Louganis, aye he's a coach for them now.  Apparently he was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS before those Olympics but didn't admit it until years later.

Having had a look through there's 3 events where we we stand a chance of medals tomorrow

We have 2 medals in the boxing guaranteed but the finals will decide the colour.

We have a decent chance in the womens pentathlon, with out team being the women who came 1st and 2rd in the world championships earlier in the year.

30 golds would be amazing, so lets hope we get them from that very little list.

Usain 'bigged up' Birmingham again.

But only after Yohan Blake had done it first...again!  what a crackin bloke he is.

Have time entertainment sorted for the Everton game; a relay race around the pitch between the Jamaican 4x100m squad and a Villa team made up of the Hercules, Bella, Chip and......... well, I'm not sure but maybe Legion or Mr Woodhall.

I love that, precisely because it's so lame.  I love the fact that he's confident enough to do something so daft right before the biggest race of his life.

The trouble is when he does it, it makes him look like a gay panda. I'm guessing some agent has told him to do it as he always looks like he seems embarrassed when he does.

I'm a bit disappointed that it's pretty much all over now. I'd like another couple of weeks of it.
