Looks to me like the convict was trying to dig the elbow into Pendleton. Cheating twunt.

Yeah the yank bird had a few digs at Trott yesterday as well, seems to be fairly accepted as part of the sport.

So Pendleton has been relegated while the convict gets away with elbowing. Fix!

Bugger Pendleton relegated so it's one-nil to the convict.

Relegated. Always the danger when you ride like she does. She has to win twice in a row now.

Ah well, 2-1 will be more exciting than 2-0. Fingers crossed...

Wasn't for elbows, she crossed the red line, fair cop on the replay.

Wasn't for elbows, she crossed the red line, fair cop on the replay.

But did the convicts elbow attempts cause her to cross the line?

Pendleton should have opened the gap then when Mears stopped. Oh well, think the first was harsh but I think it knocked her then.

Well all the (slightly biased) experts reckon that seemed to happen and is a natural thing to lean back into the competitor when bumped. I wonder if it was a ploy in the first place.
