So then, potential future golds. Pendlebird in the cycling, Kenny in the cycling, some in the boxing (?), Mo in the 5k. Anyone else?

Laura Trott in the women's omnium is a good gold prospect too.

Love these Olympics.

Mens hockey could have a chance after today, I think there's some canoeing to be finished. Shanaze Read is expected to get a medal in the BMX, the Brownlee brothers should get a 1-2 in the triathalon, open water swimming and some equestrian events we're expected to do well in as well.

Still think we could push 55-60 medals at this rate

Tonight's report from behind the scenes.

You might not believe this but (I should have taken a photo)

As it's a long walk from first call room to the stadium - the 8 100m finalists were transported in 3 golf buggies. 3 jamaicans + Tyson Gay in first, 2 more in 2nd, 2 more in 3rd plus me!

Sorry if anybody took my advice last night and put money on Blake. Usain found his form at last.

Bolt will win, sub 9.65.

Not bad!
2/100 out ... That is the difference between first and last in this race!
No seriously good call well done.

I can't remember being too bothered about watching the Olympics before.
