How tall is that Russian?
I thought exactly the same as she walked out.

You can always rely on the footballers to put a dampner on things. The ones who earn the most seem to fail the most.

The US Basketball team earn far more than the GB footballers and they seem to be doing OK.

BTW, I suspect that the highest paid member of Team GB in any sport is Luol Deng

What do the US basketball team have to do with English and British footballers failing?

You said that the ones who earn the most seem to fail the most. I was just pointing out that that doesn't seem to apply to other countries

But it does to ours which was my point.

Ennis is 5' 5", so the Russian must have been pushing 6'3" or 6'4"

So 6 gold medals in a day and just shy of seven with the men's doubles and their seat problems. And aren't we on for another possible three tomorrow with Cycling and Ainslee in the Sailing?

Andy Murray is going for 2 Golds and is guaranteed at least 2 silvers

I never put him down for winning as he always bottles the final.  ;)

(actually I forgot he was on tomorrow)

I am sure I heard that there are 5 more "categories" (wrong word but u know what I mean) left in the track cycling and we could win them all..........

Did anyone say whether the one female cyclist is ill or just suffering from Alopecia?

She didn't appear on the Beeb balcony like the others.

Mr Rooney, Mr Lampard, Mr Terry and Mr Gerard. You may have the medals and the money but you will never have the pride and affection that has been afforded to these athletes over the last  few days and whats more, it's pretty obvious that you couldn't show such dignity in triumph either.

Any idea when the medal ceremonies will be?

Mo was wearing his medal already but I didn't see it awarded

He has to wait til tomorrow to get the proper one. Must admit to having a bit of grit in my eye when Jessica got hers!

Radio 5 earlier was saying that all three had overcome medical problems, eg asthma, alopecia etc.

However, I'm not sure how hair loss affects how you ride a bike.

It doesn't, apart from probably being so shy and picked on in school so you have to overcome a lot.

This is her in her wig. Caught the tale end of her being interviewed on the Beeb not long ago.
