You're missing something important, Brice. Those are an indication of a need. What about the feasibility of us spending that much?

A little like the fact that, right now, what I really need is Megan Fox tickling my testicles and feeding me beer and crisps, but the likelihood of that happening is even less than that of us spending 10m on a player today.

Someone on VT mentioned signing James McFadden before Friday's registration deadline.

Would be a good signing I think.

Anyone else wonder if there is a link of Bellamy signing for Liverpool and Merieles handing in a very late transfer request.

Seriously though. Would a year out in the lower divisions have a knock on Bellamy being able to play at the top level again?

Hmmmm....

When you lay the side out like that, cherry pick the players to make up a good first 11 and its not that bad in fact providing the new recruits pull there weight and make the effort you could make the case for a robust difficult team to beat, good options in the midfield (this again depending on the likes of Ireland who we have now got until Jan at least) all doing what they should be capable of Gabby and Bent up front.

Its not that bad...

and they are great answers actually.

Is he on a free as I thought we couldn't sign anyone after tonight unless they were free agents and the squad had not been finalised.
