fuck me. Haven't got on all day and I see we're linked with Jenas for the 15th straight summer. I hope something happens in the next 6 hours or it's going to miserable on here. I'm beginning to understand how Everton fans feel every window. Didn't see it being this bad.

villa enquired about hutton but never followed it up, spurs accepted £4m bid from fulham for hutton.

villa also enquired about jenas and while spurs looked favourably at it they are not sure jenas fancies villa.

Well McL said he would sign one last player a couple of weeks ago. He just did not say when he'd come to VP.

Which contradicts the reports of him being on his way down to us for talks. I think it's a 'wait and see' on Hutton.

Can't Stoke offer european football this season.

We can't. The fact is Stoke could be a more desirable move than us as the moment. Players just see a mass exodus from villa park and maybe think this isn't the place to be.
