I keep hearing on 5Live that Scott Parker to Spurs can only happen if they off load a couple of players.
Seeing as we appear to have done our off loading already, is there still a chance we could go for him?

I would imagine that part of the Spuds offloading is Hutton to us

I don't see the point of Cole. In the central attacking position we have the vibrant Bannan and the mercurial Ireland (he plays fucking Heskey, but that's another point), wide left we have Gabby who doesn't deserve to be dropped, right we have the Zog on whom we've spent so much you have to feel he's a first choice and up front obviously Benty. Now I know about the squad game, but with Cole's wages - which we'd have to pay in the loan deal, presumably - he'd be considered 'key', but he's not good enough anymore to be that, too injury prone, doesn't work as hard as Bannan, Albrighton or Gabby and, worst of all, could hinder the development of one or two of our top talents by taking an automatic and undeserved place in the squad.

I think GH would have made an excellent director of football.  cant believe villa didnt try and give him a role upstairs or with the development of youth.

And how much would that cost Randy a year? Half a million?

Rather than pay him off as we did, we could have invited him upstairs as DoF or whatever and at least got something back for the millions we paid him.
