Jenas and Liam Fucking Ridgewell. Them being players who would put a little garnish of diarrhea  on this shit sandwich of a summer.

Thank god I think there is no chance of either.

McFadden, Hutton, Jenas and Ridgewell. How far have we sunk?

How on earth have Newcastle got Santon for only £5m?

They're putting together a very nice team up there.

Hate to agree Dave, but they seem to have got some decent scouts and found some really good players.

Jenas & Ridgwell are just average players.

These days we're just an average club.

Surely we will have a rabbit from the hat tomorrow Ozz?

It's like Tommy Cooper's running the show.

Watched a few Spuds games last year & Hutton played very well in all of them. Good signing imo.
I'd consider Jenas too, add a bit of steel to our midfield.

I would agree re Hutton and had to eat some humble pie in those games he played for Spurs last year as I had always thought him utterly useless previously and had said so several times on here!

I don't rate Jenas very highly at all but I do think that he is one of those players who actually gets a worse press than perhaps he deserves. Which is not to say I am advocating signing him, just that he isn't quite as crap as people portray him to be...

That really would be a turd in the punchbowl.

Thankfully, I think the likelhood of all those appearing in C&B is remote.  Unless they go out on loan to West Ham/Burnley/ Scunthorpe.

More Sky bollocks?

I remember watching Guy Demel a few years back and i really liked him. He looks like he could play defensive midfield as well. He's not one to get forward though. It's a possiblity i suppose.

I'd say so.

Agent says player wants to play in England. Sky Sports pick two random clubs to turn it into an article.

No. We'd have a thread about him featuring a big picture of his pasty face behind a well stretched home shirt if we had.
