Well i get impression ireland isnt being fancied by alex mac which is a bit unfair but maybe theres a swap deal or something in offing that would be cool.

Perhaps at a time when we are trying to get the wage bill down and bring in younger and cheaper players, a high earning and todate underperforming Ireland is a player worth moving on? 

So playing Delph, Bannan and even Makoun ahead of him makes sense.  At least he will have the stimulus of regular football if a lesser club comes in for him.

Fuller/Macheda??  We surely already have much better, why waste money on strikers when more pressing issues to address? - same with Joe Cole, maybe a few years ago he'd have been worth a shout, actually make that quite a few years ago....

The Daily Mail reporting that the scum have accepted a bid of £5m for Dann from QPR. Surely Mcleish would push Lerner to sanction a deal. He could be a massive investment let alone a strong contender to challenge both CH for a first team place ??

Fuller and macheda indeed did score great goals against us but what have have they besides to warrant their arrival? Niether is exactly a step up on what we have already and any signings we make should be good enough to go straight into the team and not warm the bench.

Joe cole is another ireland type player who hasnt hit the heights in the last couple of years and a luxury we cant afford.

This makes no sense - wasn't Stoke's bid earlier this summer around £12m?

If dann is going for £5m id expect liverpool and arsenal to be sniffing about , even though mertesacker is confirmed in talks with arsenal.

I only said hutton and hargreeaves as someone else said we d only have in two more and there my guesses just like a few other people on here actually.

Point taken bout cole and fuller i think get in these names would be risky if we are on cost cutting brief. Just ahope for some flair though.
