Bullard is about to ge the sack from Hull. If that's the sort of man you want at theclub wouldn't Gazza be a better bet? He's a better drinker and player than Bullard.

Bullard is about to ge the sack from Hull. If that's the sort of man you want at theclub wouldn't Gazza be a better bet? He's a better drinker and player than Bullard.

The midfielder, who has had his contract at Hull terminated being chased by Ipswich.
However, Jewell faces stiff competition from Premier League clubs for the 32-year-old's signature.

"I spoke to Jimmy twice (on Monday) and once on Sunday with the owner about him," Paul Jewell said on Ipswich website.

"He had a meeting with QPR and there are a couple of other Premier League teams in for him, but we are trying to be competitive and we are trying to bring him here.

Other news Manchester City have entered the race for Scott Parker???!

Do you really think we're at QPR's level? They're only looking to survive this year, and whatever anyone thinks, that shouldn't be us this year.

you are entitled to mention them brice my friend , smith hasnt really done much over the last 5 yr or more though and bullard after a purple patch at wigan has never hit those heights since so i think both are busted flushes in my opinion.

Smith is absolutely fucking rubbish, as every single Newcastle United fan will tell you.

We need a target man too, so how about Mark Viduka?

And Harry Kewell on the wing to supply him. Any other old bones you'd like to dig up?  Ruel Fox maybe? Peter Shirtliff?

We've got no one to back up Bent if he gets injured. Stevie Bull could do a job.

What about Carlton Palmer for midfield?

Yes!

Villa Park on a matchday would resemble the latter stages of Terminator 2, with legs and limbs breaking off all over the gaff.

Whats Gilles Grimandi up to these days?

Would be ideal as a defense midfield / defender utility player.

How about that midfielder that used to be at Arsenal, Pires? He might do a job.

qpr will do more than survive theyll make 4 or 5 signings and have much financial backing
i wouldnt dismiss qpr and be a tricky game in few weeks @ loftus

Ruel Fox ruled the roost (well, chicken coop anyway). Him and Tony Daley were two of my favourite players   in '92/93.
