W.Palacios is abit one paced for my liking, would not be too unhappy with someone like Cattermole.

Palacios and Crouch Stoke.
Adebayor and diarra Spurs.

Good deals for both clubs

Bit odd to moan about one player having a booze problem whilst pushing another one (Bullard) with an equally large problem.

A friend of mine is a Hull fan and was telling me that last season Bullard specialised in not turning up for training, including one time when he was out on the piss, woke up on a training day and tried to expense to the club the cost of a cab back to Hull. From London.

If Makoun was to go I'd expect roughly half of that £7m for him, but then we understand that wages are the issue not fees, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone know what osrt of wage he's on at Spurs?

i would also say fees are very much an issue considering mcleish said "we have no money at all to spend" in his post match fulham interview.

The comments from Pelty on this forum say differently.

NZonzi, Palacios, Barton or Parker would be decent choices for CM. I like Holden at Bolton but he's just getting over a bad injury.

wouldnt hold out to much hope on peltys words as he he said himself hes not that much in the know and his own dad led us to believe mcleish would be well backed financially-im sure mcleish knows the situation and its pretty clear we have no money to spend as hes said it several times since arriving.

mcleish knows the score far more than pelty.

Hasn't Palacious become the Sidwell of Spurs , the fans scapegoat . The later performances by him have been dire , giving the ball away alot . Might be a confidence thing with the fans on his back .

He was an excellent £1 million signing for wigan but a awful £10 million one for spurs . Well done Wigan.

The thing with makoun is if he was to go Im not sure how much if anything we would get for him.

For example, it could have been 2 million down then a further 2 million in jan 12 then a further 2 2 million in jan 13.

I think if he was to leave it would be back to france and Lyon who would say forget the further payments so they have had 2 million for loaning him to us.

It may free up 30-40k in wages but I think that would be about it
