I see harry revealed hes been trying to sign ashley young for the last 3 yrs but to no avail.

.....yup deal was done last year, with Jenas, and two others coming to us in exchange, Ash was house hunting in North London, the deal fell through when MOM left! otherwise would have happened.

Brice, I see Robbie Fowler's back from Australia, maybe an audacious bid successful would be?

Pires was a mistake but at least he was a genuinely great player. Somebody the youngsters could look up to and learn from.
At the other end of the scale is Alan Smith and Jimmy fucking Bullard. The worst suggestions I have ever seen on this site and that's saying something.

I get fed up of reading about the "much needed investment", the issue is the wage against turnover ratio meaning we don't need investment other than an increase in revenue

I think all we'll hear is Alex's laugh before he puts the phone down.

With Spurs getting Diarra I think an attempt for Palacios is worthwhile

Bullard be more effective than ireland in a midfield role

Ireland can't get into the team!
Bullard wouldn't get on the bench.

Suggest you use some of the funds to get a new keyboard, one with Capitals and punctuation marks etc.

I've seen worse suggestions, but Randy would need to make more funds available than we'd be getting for Makoun to make it happen.

Think he's destined for Stoke but agree he would be a good option. Think Spurs are after £6-£8milion though.

I dunno what his contract situation is and how desperate Spurs are to offload players, but i'd have thought we'd be looking in the region of £7 million as Stoke were allegedly doing a joint deal for him and Crouch for something like £13m.Anyway, he is a player that has impressed me and i'd have him as a replacement for Petrov, a player i've liked but i think that he's definitely on the way down now.

If Makoun was to go I'd expect roughly half of that £7m for him, but then we understand that wages are the issue not fees, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone know what osrt of wage he's on at Spurs?

Alan Smith? are you serious? He's done nothing for the best part of 10 years....
I merely speculate with bullard
he is a cheap viable option.
Strentghening in midfield is needed so a shot at a pay as you play deal or one year contract -like we did pires- would make sense.
Movee for bullard would be to boost numbers and add much experience in midfield.
I also believe a move to bring in
alan smith would be shrewd business. Both these players are proven worth taing a chance

Whatever your on this morning, I want one.
