Wasn't he only on loan there in order to get experience, after all he's only a youngster. I'm pretty sure Real Madrid own his registration.

Everton need to sell before they can buy so a few players teams would be interested in.

Unfortunately as we semingly have to trade out before purchases any moves for likes of cahill or arteta prob wont be forthcoming but they would be great signings

Cahill is 31 soon, as we are obviously being a bit more prudent I can't see why we'd suddenly pay a decent transfer fee and wages for someone of his age.

Personally, i'd like us to sign someone i've never heard of. We are still doing the whole, buy them from other English clubs routine. As good as the signings of Zog and Given will probably prove to be, they are obvious signings most of us could tell were on the cards. Don't we have any scouts with a passport or scouring the lower leagues?

N'Zonzi looks decent too, but I think there's better of his type out there.

Does anyone else think AM might be keeping Ireland on the bench to force him into a move?  Even if it's only a loan if might free up enough wages to get another loan coming in, such as Parker.

N'Zonzi is a decent player but no better. His obvious advantage is his height but I don't think he's really as good, never mind better than what we already have. I think we can do better and I hope we will.
