Not sure on the passport thing. It sounds like both his parents were dutch and they became citizens in Japan in 1994 according to wiki. He was born in Japan though, so not sure where that puts him with regards to passports....

I do love a foreign signing I haven't heard about. Gives me a little optimism when we're linked to Championship fodder all summer.

Some of those finishes are quality. I think we can all categorically agree he is better than Heskey. He's cheap as chips too, why not take the gamble

Although Josh Kennedy looks good in the j-league and has been handy for Australia he was pretty much pants in the bundesliga. Short defenders over there don't handle height too well and I'm sure it's worse in their second division. Still looks better than Bentdner which some have been suggesting.

He seems to be a foot taller than all of the defenders. I'd have thought he cant be that great if playing in the Japanese second division at 24? Good goals tho
