not sure whether cuellar turned rangers down , they apparently were miles apart on terms after the fee was agreed-maybe carlos prefers a move to spain?

I'm not sure if someone has already mentioned it, but Mat Kendrick has reported via Twitter that McLeish publicly stated last night that he has not bid for Scott Parker.

Seems a bit of a shame, as he is as logical a signing as N'Zogbia in my book. Still, I'd be surprised if he isn't already lined up for someone else, Spurs maybe.

He didn't actually say bid, he says he has not enquired about him which basically says he ain't interested plus i don't think he sits in our model as a player, think the days are gone when we purchase older players on large contracts.

Specialist position, Given can easily play for 5 years in my opinion.
