I'd rather have another twelve months out of Cuellar than twelve months out of Upson.

The West Ham fans hated Upson last season, agreeing to a man, their worst player.

It's definitely Charlie Webster, Hayley McQueen, Kirsty Gallagher top 3.

Whenever I watched them he was terrible. A good player once so was it a blip or is he past it? Hope we're not the ones trying to find out.

West Ham fans -who have had to endure some pretty shite players over the years- are sad at the prospect of losing Scott Parker, but are quite happy to see the back of Upson. Says it all really.

It's a no for me.

I was quite happy to see Upson making a very poor attempt to stop Gabby from popping in our winner at Upto Park last season. No thanks.

My expectations are so managed, I'd be over the moon to see CNZ and Parker only joining us this side of the next transfer window.

I think he's a player that would greatly improve us, but there are two problems:-
1.  He allegedly doesn't want to leave London.
2.  The financial package, give his age and virtually nil re-sale value, would be a burden on our newly restricted finances.

F365:

"Aston Villa have resumed talks with Wigan over signing winger Charles N'Zogbia and are understood to be close to agreeing a fee.
Wigan had rejected Villa's bid of £9million for the former Newcastle player.

But the two clubs held further discussions over the weekend and are believed to be not far from reaching a compromise figure of around £9.5million.

New Villa boss Alex McLeish needs a new winger after the departures of Ashley Young and Stewart Downing to Manchester United and Liverpool respectively this summer.

He will take nothing for granted after failing to sign N'Zogbia when Birmingham boss last summer.

But a deal would also suit Wigan as N'Zogbia could leave them for nothing next summer when his current contract runs out, although a transfer now will depend on club owner Dave Whelan giving his seal of approval.

If an agreement is reached, N'Zogbia will hold talks over personal terms in the next 24 hours and undergo a medical before signing what is expected to be a five-year deal.

He would be likely to have to wait to join up with Villa's first-team squad.

McLeish's team are currently on a pre-season tour of Hong Hong and N'Zogbia does not have the required work visa."

N'Zogbia and Parker would be very good. I'd like to see another full back, and maybe a forward come in, but I doubt the forward will happen
