Would be rather sign Parker or take him on a season loan?
Sullivan has said in an interview he would sanction a loan.

Sign him, because we'd have to pay a fee for the loan anyway.

They'd want £4m for the loan, might as well sign him.

Kendrick has been getting quite a bit wrong recently - he reckoned downing was no way for sale unless a crazy bid of around £25m came in - we now need to see quality players coming in as some kind of statement of ambition- let's hope for some positive news soon.

Loan fee being £4m apparently. No chance.

The idea of the loan that would appeal to me is that we wouldn't get saddled with his reported £70,000 a week wages as he ages and his powers diminish.  However, it would need be for a lot less than £4m to make it a goer!

Been at work and Wasn't Aware how much they wanted for loan- might as well sign him then.

What's the opinion on Vargas I think his name is? Nursey says mcleish after him at  £12m and he's a florentiana winger and Peru international

Not really seen much of serie a - any good is he?

Vargas is a good player, he used to play left back but I think he's a winger these days.

Great player. Better than Nzogbia and no I dont think weve got a chance in hell of signing him. Although I do like in that Nursey article it mentions McLeish likes his South American players. 1 thing I hope we can look forward to in future transfer windows is not repeating the phrase "yeah but he's not British so we wont be interested"

Either Big Eck has been following the MON snails pace transfer dealings policy, or everything is done and half a team of signings will be announced at the home shirt launch.

Can't access that at work, but most players do look good based on Youtube highlights!

N'Zogbia, Vargas and Parker? Yea right. More like Morton-Gamst Pedersen, Leon Best and Glen Whelan.

Vargas said he's staying with Fiorentina for another season, and even if he wasn't, you'd probably need to lay off the happy pills if you thought we had any chance of signing him.

and Glen Whelan.

I wonder how different things would be if he didn't come off the bench to make it 2-2 to stop us going 8 points clear.............

N'zogbia on the left and someone to compete with Albrighton on the right.

Please not McGeady, I thought we heard the last of him when MON walked out.

Does anyone know how McGeady has been getting on in Russia?
