Well he would feel right at home at Villa Park as things stand then.

I do think Given is a better keeper though, and for less money would rather we signed him. We have given our neighbors more than enough cash already this year. Disappointed we didn't go for Westwood from Coventry though, he would have been good competition and rather him in goal than Guzan if Givens shoulder went again.

I am in a minority here I suspect, but I wouldn't be that displeased with Green. Robinson at Blackburn has shown that there is life after a lacklustre spell as England no.1, and he could do well if he got his confidence back.
