Qpr complete deals for bothroyd and keiran dyer.
Dyer?
His list of injuries is everthing from a dislocated shoulder to a broken Thermos flask.

It was reported on Sky Sports at the time that the broken Thermos flask (in medical terms Thermos Rupturidicus) only meant he missed 3 weeks. So not one of his more serious ailments over the years.

Yesterday, I was out so missed my call from the club asking why I have not renewed my season ticket.  Annoying, as I had a 15 minute speech prepared entitled 'Be honest and change the keyword from Prepared to Medicore.'

What part of "Summer transfer rumours" does that comment address?

Well it is not all bad news as in the past we have been linked with Bothroyd, Riise, Hargreaves, maybe Dyer and Carlton Cole and they all seem to have new clubs, the one that we were linked to and got away is Sneijder and that won't happen for sure, ahh the beauty of hindsight.

Parker on a one year loan would be awesome. All the benefits (good player but aging, will help bring on our youngsters) but without the negatives (high transfer fee, no sell on value, declining ability due to age).

I can't believe clubs keep being stupid enough to give that oxygen thief Dyer contracts.

Apparently Dyer is injured again.  He cricked his neck bending down to sign the contract.  He then dropped the biro on his big toe and managed to break his ankle in the process.

Roger Johnson, seven million pounds!! WTF.

I heard it was perforated eardrum, he -like us- couldn't believe it when he heard another club had been foolish enough to take him on.

Why is that a surprise?

He was £5m when he was a promising centre-back from a mid-table Championship club.

I would say he stock has risen considerably since then.

You could understand a Championship club taking a punt on Dyer, but not a Premiership club. He's one very fortunate chap.

Seems a lot to pay, both for Wolves to shell out and for a player of his ability.  He's not bad but, not great.  Great price for Blues.  I think they win this one.

I'm surprised he's gone to Wolves; I thought a better club would go for him.
