Calm down, UsualSuspect. The admin staff have only just got back. Give them a bit of time to chat holidays, compare beach photos, catch up on general gossip and then they'll answer that phone to the nice Mr Given who's been calling every day for the last three weeks......

Agree about Parker and Modric

I wouldn't be surprised if apart from Given we haven't made contact with any club about any other players

If so that ties into what McLeish said about a keeper being a priority and then wanting to see what he's got.

However, it doesn't mean that agents having already been on the phone to him bigging up certain players. He'll know who is available and for what price!

I'm pretty sure Mat Kendrick tweeted it as a reason why signings haven't arrived yet - waiting for players to return to training and admin staff to return from holidays before anything happens. No suggestion all the admin staff went away together - you must have come up with that one.

Whether it's true or not, I've mentioned it a couple of times. Makes me chuckle and Gods knows I need something to make me smile about the Villa right now.
