Wouldn't Mikel fill the Essien role? If and when they get Modric I can't see why they'd go for Parker. Same goes for Spurs when they're covered in that position.

A quick look and he scored 13 goals in 41 appearances last season, 20 of which were as sub. That is good going.

Kalou's not a bad player at all.

I'd back him to easily score more goals than Gabby, Delfouneso or Weimann.

Agree for a bit part player he's got a pretty good record goals and assists! Great record at International level, probably coming into his peak now too. Wouldn't mind him if the money is there and we can still strengthen in other areas!

Kalous is a good player but I very much doubt we're after him. He's really just more of the same that we already have in Gabby and Bent (and Delfouneso and Weimann)
Fuck Heskey off and replace him with a convincing target man or a skillful number 10 or even somebody who combines both and we're in business.

They play him in that position but he's not really a winger. He's a striker as I see it.

We can't sign him. Every time I hear his name mentioned, the Bolan song "Metal Guru" except with it changed to "Metal kalou" comes into my mind.
