I posted a link from the Mail yesterday that quoted 4 clubs been after him and we weren't one of them. It said that virtually no contact had been made by us to Wigan.

I dont understand whats taking so long to sort this deal out considering we are apparently "favourites" to land him.

We very rarely do business quickly in the transfer market - there's only the Bent deal that went through swiftly in recent memory. It just makes me think that Lerner won't commit much money this window, particularly with his problems with the NFL and Cleveland Browns which could be a financial disaster to him and other owners if the NFL is cancelled this coming season.

Yes, Nzogbia to Liverpool because they are a 'big club' which suits his ego. Downing to Arsenal more possible now that Chelsea have apparently bid for Theo Walcott although I can't imagine why.

Stoke put a bid in for both him and Dann at £16m For the life of me, i cant see stoke valuating both at £8m each??!! They probably valuated £10m for Dann and £6m for Jerome.
