warnock can get to fuck - his toys out of the pram pish was embarrassing last year

hopefully never again will he get the privelage of wearing an Aston Villa shirt again

I agree with you and posted similarly a few days ago.
However, quite a few people disagreed and so I looked up his record.  He's actually played far more games over the last 18 months or so than I thought.
I still don't get his attitude, though, so if he's that unhappy we should offload.  Now there's a challenge for McL!

louzie0

he has to go, all he has done is yap and cry in the media - i think he was getting found out big style - the chelsea 7-1 game was the one that showed how poor an attitude the guy has

another bad thing for eck (not his fault) but every c*** that was acting up last year will be starting with a fresh slate so to speak

good luck with that

God, yes, 7 - 1 was not his finest hour, nor that of the defence in general.  Yes, Big Eck has a bit of a mountain to climb with some of the VP lags.  And on the subject, what about a certain S Ireland?  Now if he could get SW and SI (the stephens) to play I would be very, very impressed.  And if they have any sense, (and halfway intelligent agents)why wouldn't they?  As you say, new slate, new opportunity to show off, and move on for maximum money if that's what they want, and the club would gain either way.

I don't think it's even possible to be worse than Johnny Evans but Collins and Dunne probably are.

fixed that for you The Situation

Having looked at the film again, I have to disagree.  Dunne would not be playing that far down the pitch.  And Collins is a gentleman.

collins is a guy that gives 100% every time he puts on a villa shirt or a welsh shirt - unfortunatley his 100% is nowhere near good enough

im an Irishman - Dunne is a pisstaker - under MON he was as fit as fluck, under GH he started to take the piss not only out of him but all of us

dunne, warnock and ireland should be gone, never to grace the claret and blue again - even if we run down their contract so be it

and before people cry about their wages/value etc

money is no problem to us at the minute, just ask GH, MON and bcfc

I like your style - money is no problem at the minute

But I have this irrational resistance to paying out more than we have to.  If Big Eck can get the Stephens working and Dunne, then why not make as much out of them as we can.  (Collins is a very talented player and I want to keep him, so he's going nowhere.)

But still.  2 and a half internationals!  They've got to be worth something.

Probably we can get enough from sales of three player to buy one top notch replacement.

it was tongue in cheek - we are getting fleeced at the minute left right and centre

i would give ireland another go, because there is actually a player in there

warnock and dunne - they treated us like shite last year, this year because we have a new manager, we give them another chance?

no thank you

as i said about collins, no problem with him being here, 100% every time he pulls on the shirt, but as long as we have 2 centre backs and then a back up to the 2 centre backs and then collins as back up to the 3 of them, then no problem at all

Collins has shaky moments, but he was immense at Arsenal and home to Newcastle, he is a decent player.

Scott Dann is way over priced.

Unfortunately he is, but if we could get Roger Johnson instead I'd be very happy. He's been impressive most of the time I've seen him play.

Apparently Johnson isn't as good as Dann and neither will his market value be as high.

Out
Freidel - free
Walker - loan expired
Lichaj - loan
Collins - £3-£4m
Dunne - £3-£3.5m
Warnock - £2-£3m
Beye - £0.5-£1m
Young A - £16m-£18m
Ireland - £2-£3m
NRC - Contract expired
Pires - Released
Hogg - loan
Carew - Released
Heskey £1-2m
Osbourne - Released
Salifou - Released

Roughly £30-£35m in
+ £40m 'war chest' - don't you just love the tabloids

= £70-75m to spend

Squad
Guzan - GK
Marshall - GK
L Young - RB
Cuellar - CB
Clark - CB
Baker - LB
Downing - LW
Albrighton - RW
Petrov - CM
Makoun - CM
Delph - CM
Bannan - CM
Bent - CF
Agbonlahor - CF
Delfounoso - CF

So we need;
1 GK - Foster or Given ?
1 RB - Walker or Hutton or Brown ?
1 LB - Dann ?
2 CB - Brown, Johnson..............?
1 Holding CM - ?
1 RW - N'Zogbia ?
1 LW - ?
1 CF - ?

If it could all be sorted by the start of the season rather than bumbling around on deadline day, that would be most appreciated.

Will this be a net spend of 40 million?

Our new defence will cost around 20 million I think, maybe a bit more depending on how much he'll have to overpay.

N'Zogbia will cost around £13 million maybe a bit less (we all dream of having N'Zogbia. If Downing goes it'll be crucial to get him)

A new central midfielder? I'm sure Big Eck might be able to find a good bargain, maybe not even pay any money at all if we could get Hitzleberger. McLeish liked someone with long range shooting ability with Gardner in the team.

Wouldn't worry about Wes Brown. He said on SSN he wants to stay in the North West. Everton or Bolton I think.
