He's tidy, and has energy, but not much flair. Christ, how much are Liverpool willing to spend to get some young players that are nearly as good as ours.

I like Henderson, think he is going to be a decent premiership player, but never in the 20 million bracket. Liverpool I think are targeting people who can develop over time together, which is a wise way to go, but 20 million for Henderson is madness. Downing should be a minimum of 25 on those prices.

Nolan, Barton and the left back who's name I can't spell.

I can imagine them struggling next season, Pardew getting the boot and Doh'Neill taking the job.

Exactly. More proof if any was needed of how divorced football is from reality and even more reason to like it less and less. £20m for a jobbing midfielder, no international record, no history of outstanding performances in big games etc etc. Reckon Sunderland will go down next season. You heard it hear first from the man who put a tenner on West Ham to go down last summer at 9/!!!!

Not just that but as young promising players surely Albrighton is worth similar, Clark £15m? Bannan £10m?

Clubs will spend mega money trying to stock up on all sorts of players expecially the promising up and coming lot as this is the final window before the fair play rules

If we are not careful we will get left behind bigstyle and players may feel this is their last chance to get a big money move for a while.
