Fuck off Liverpool!

Not only are they going after our players, they're also going after our transfer targets.

Give them Downing so they leave him alone

That would meaning losing Downing and Ash in the same summer, which would be a disaster.

One problem we have is that both our current first choice wingers prefer the left, so Ash going and N'Zogbia coming in gives us greater balance.

I see your point John but he's made it clear he wants to go so let him go

What other wingers are up for grabs that are a decent standard like n'zogbia?

Jarvis from Wolves maybe? Depending on who Man City buy perhaps Shaun Wright-Phillips, or more optimistically Adam Johnson? Wouldn't mind a Bid to Wigan for Victor Moses - he looks like he could be a good player although probably will end up as a striker.

Is it confirmed we've signed Michael Bradley?

I dunno if we had a pre-arranged agreement or something but tbh he didn't get that much playing time so it'll be interesting how he does next season.

I think it's time to look at Kevin Davies. He will set up loads of chances for Bent.

Will be keeping an eye on Swiss striker Derdiyok today.  Not because we're after him, but he looks a handy striker.  Good, powerful forward to support Bent?

Never rated him, doesn't score enough goals and doesn't provide support that well either. Watch him bag a hatrick today!!
Have heard good things about their 'keeper Benaglio though. Seems highly rated in Germany and with Wolfsburg faltering of late he might be available?!

Their young winger Shaqiri is very highly rated

His record on 2 goals in 30 games is less than impressive.

We were linked with him quite a lot last summer or January as an attacking left back, but it seems he's converted into a right midfielder!

Yep, looked as his record and wondered what the fuss about Derdiyok was.  Not exactly looking lively today either.  He's no Heskey.

He looks to be playing out of position, he seems very left footed
