I've still got a feeling he'll go to Liverpool,be better if there are two clubs after him as it'll push the price up. Hopefully this won't hang over us all summer, and we can quickly get a replacement in.

I'm a little suprised, maybe he wanted too much money. If the list of the players leaving has been released this must mean GH will be back pretty soon.

our wage bill must only be out-plummeted by the fall of Small Heath through the leagues currently

What you mean the Liverpool without Euro trips next season? (teehee).
Nah, I suspect one of the Manc teams will get him. United seem to have fallen out of love with Nani, perhaps he will go, with AY as replacement (from one diver to another: watch AY come to VP next season and win a penalty).

Well, it looks as if swift, clean decisions are being made on the playing side of things.  If GH is staying - and I assume by this he is -  then I reckon we could be in for an exciting (fingers crossed) summer of rebuilding.

Nani was Utds players, player of the year I heard. I don't think they need him as Valencia is a far better player,if City want him hopefully they'll do a deal involving Johnson  or Milner.

If Man U are after him he'll go there. They are irresistable to any player who is unattached by birth to a club (ie Shearer is the only one I can think of) and we'll get what they offer us. Dems the rules when its man u I'm afraid.

Possibly.

It could also mean he was asking for too much money and Randy would have said no whoever was in charge, so we just let him walk?

I wonder if we are one of the premier clubs who have made a move to sign Bradley Johnson from Leeds , Gary mac has managed him and he has turned down a new deal at Leeds.

Yep,you could be right,he doesn't deserve to be one of our top earners, and who knows,GH could pull out the new Makalele from under his hat next week!

Fuck him. The cheese eating surrender monkey.

Just 'cos he's an OAP (in footballing terms) does not mean we should command him respect.

I hope he contracts the norah virus, I really, really do.
