MY celtic mate reckons Izaguirre is class but there again he probably thought Tony Cascarino was world class.

Year 1: Gareth Barry
Year 2: James Milner
Year 3: Ashley Young
Year 4: Stewart Downing
Year 5: Ciaran Clark
Year 6: Mark Albrighton
Year 7: Gary Gardner

etc etc.... football, as a competitive sport is dead.

Year 8       Salifou

No not Salifou he is completely loyal to  the Villa. He will never leave or play!

Villa prepare £3.5million keeper swoop

Aston Villa are preparing a surprise £3.5million bid for Nottingham Forest keeper Lee Camp.

Villa boss Gerard Houllier has targeted the Northern Ireland international as a successor to Brad Friedel, who is set to quit this summer.

Former Derby star Camp has emerged as one of the most highly-rated keepers outside the Premier League and impressed as Forest made the play-offs for a second successive season.

Following Forest's semi-final loss to Swansea, Villa are now ready to test their resolve to keep the 26-year-old by offering him a dream move to the top flight.

Houllier’s future is still uncertain at Villa as he recovers from a heart scare, but he has placed Camp on his wish-list for the summer.

Forest are facing a potential exodus of players after their play-off exit, with Nathan Tyson and Guy Moussi both quitting as free agents.

I think we should consider a bid for Oscar Wendt.

I don't think he is too bad, I hadn't even thought of him as a target. If we are going into the championship though why not go for westwood?

Indeed.  The risk ability wise between Camp versus Westwood is probably minimal so we may as well go wist Westwood (unless he is asking stupid wages).

Derby mate of mine said he was forever dropping clangers for them.

Aside from that - He's shite.

It may be we did but he's already got his summer move lined up??

I know next to nothing about Camp, but if true it surprises me as I expected Gezza to either go for one of the established PL keepers (Robinson/Foster) or go overseas.
