I would say N'Zogbia would be a ideal replacement for Ashley Young and I really hope we can keep Walker I also think Jarvis of Wolves would be a good shout if we couldn't get N'Zogbia.

We will miss Young. He worked his ass of yesterday. I think villa fans are way too hard on him. Barry, Milner, Young. I'm sick of us losing our best players every year.

Could you imagine Bent playing in a side that included Milner, Downing and Young? He'd bag 25 a season easily.

We've no chance of Walker.

Had Spuds finished 4th they'd have gone for Glen Johnson and we'd have got Walker, but not now.

I think we do have a great chance of signing Walker. I think we'll offer them enough to make it worth their while and I can't see Walker fitting in with Redknapp's style. He'll take the cash for him and buy some showpony.
They also have Naughton as back up. And I'd be after him too if they dont want him.

In the meanwhile, Walker will be first choice here and will be allowed to develop. I also reckon he'll want to stay here buy who knows.

Samba, Hoillet, Robinson - Blackburn
Martin Olsson & Phil Jones?
Phil Jones is the one player I would want us to sing above all others from the teams below us. That boy is real quality. Big, strong, quick and a very good footballing centre half. He will go to one of the big boys within 12 months IMO.

N'Zog, Walker and Sturridge should be our first three signings. Then we need to sort our central midfield pretty quick.
What? we have a sh*t defence and you want 2 of the top 3 signings to be attacking players?!

Sunday Times reported yesterday that the Boggies are after Friedel, BTW.

I would guess that they'll be the ones most in demand so we should sort them out quickest.

How about

Young Milner Barry Downing
Bent (Partner for Bent)

People forget how good Barry was/still is IMO.

Barry's best days are behind him. Look to the future.

His best days may be behind him, but Ash, Barry, Milner & Downing would still be a CL quality midfield, IMO.

what we need is a big fucking Scandanavian oak tree to play next to Ciaran Clark in central defence next season. It's served us well in the past. A big brave as Thor warrior with a cultured up and coming star next to him.

He's more Norwegian Spruce than Oak Tree.
