Underrated player is David Vaughan. Watch Blackpool and you will see he does all Adam's dirty work.

I believe he is out of contract this summer too.

That's a pity.  I was hoping we'd put a crap offer in to wind Holloway up.

It makes sense for Reo-Coker to be courted by Italian clubs, his style of play would suit Serie A.

He's a good player though. Underrated in my opinion. I hope he stays. Let's face it, if our central midfield options for next season are Petrov, Bradley, Ireland and Makoun, we're going to be in trouble again.

I certainly hope Bradley isn't involved.
He's Championship fodder, at best.

Robinson would be a sensible signing, he's quietly had a very good season.

While we're at it, I'd go for Jonas Olsson at Blackburn, too. He's impressed me whenever I've seen him - a left-back/left midfielder - quick, athletic, good crosser, strong. Perhaps not quite 'there' yet to be our starting LB but could challenge for that spot and/or provide cover and give us an option further upfield if we want to rest Downing or switch him over to the right; he could be our third winger in the squad alongside Downing and Albrighton.

I'd offer Rovers Warnock and cash for the pair. Or Warnock and Dunne.

I like Olsson (not sure its Jonas is it?) He was very good in the cup game at villa park las year (the semi).

But he barely seems to play for them so I took the view that maybe he's not that good after all?

What about Clint Dempsey. Can play either side or behind the main striker. Good goalscoring record. Not a wow signing but would be a good addition to the squad at the right price I reckon.

I think Dempsey will be on a lot of shopping lists this summer. Versatile, consistent and seems to work hard.

Robinson has improved with age, and could be worth a punt if they drop.

MARTIN Olsson at Blackburn would be a great buy IMO, as would Kalinic.

Not a bad shout at all, a partner for Bent and someone who scores goals as well.

I think Dempsey is a solid squad player alright but as a regular partner for Bent (Gabby aside) I'd hope for somebody a bit more... brilliant. Like Gervinho or Sturridge.

I'm not sure Sturridge would be the right person to play alongside Bent personally. Someone who can hold the ball up and bring others into play would benefit Bent more i think.

I'm still not 100% convinced by Sturridge. Brilliant form and can finish but I have a bit of a nagging doubt all the same. On the other hand, I'd welcome Dempsey with open arms.

I think that is him or can be. He's very skillful and clever in possession as well as being a goal threat.

I think the Big Man with a fox in the box partnership is a thing of the past. Not many teams play that way now, especially not with two wingers.

However from what I have seen of sturridge's cameo at Bolton he seems to do a lot of work quite deep so he could work in the same way that Rooney and (virtually in midfield) and chicarito (their bent) have been playing.
