The problem I have with Larsson is that he needs to be on the pitch in order for us to benefit from his set pieces, but his all round game isn't good enough for him to get into our side ahead of our present midfielders, so what's the point?

Put a Ashley Young mask on him , bring him on for set pieces and then take him off straight after , without the ref noticing ..

Well, if they're having a look I think we can comfortably say he won't be coming to a club like us!

If we're gonna be vultures and pick up players from teams who may go down, then i'd make a move for Robinson at Blackburn,he's been pretty consistant for a while now,and is still a good age for a keeper, unlike Given who's 36 and has hardly played in a year.

I'd like Wayne Hennessey, Kasper Schmiechel if we couldnt get him

Joleon Lescott, James Milner (loan with a view to a permanent deal), Scott Parker, Daniel Sturridge, Diego Forlan, Kyle Walker

I think Hennessey is absolute garbage, wouldn't want him at all.

Forlan's wages are way out of our league and he has to be at least 30/31

I would be concerned with Given's age.

Robinson is our best shout for a new keeper, IMO.
