Id go after Huth, he played very well on Saturday

I think Huth is a decent shout, surprised MON didn't go for him during his tenure. He's coming up to 27 so should still be improving, he's a goal scoring defender, not just with his head. Right footed so could play well with Clark. Think he will be into the last year of his contract this summer, so maybe a bit cheaper or part-x with Dunne.

Think Cuellar will be off, but if we get a few million back for him and spend it on someone like Mangane we'd have a very good CB line up with very little outlay.

Clark, Huth, Mangane, Collins, Baker

Cuellar

Get Ridgwell & Cahill back, between the pair theres probably 15 goals a season there from corners / set pieces

I had a saft quid on Cahill for first goal yesterday at 25/1, his bloody header was over the line as well.

Sign Foster, Hangeland, Gervinho, Parker and Odemwingwie. About £30 million spent, and we will win the league. Well, maybe.

£30m for that lot, i can't see it somehow. Blues and Albion would want near enough £10m each for Foster and Odemwingie.

Ok, I'll throw in Beye and Osbourne. Deal?

Would anyone else take a punt on Joe Cole if we could get him for 3-4 million?

I think Joe Cole's past his best now and he'll just keep on picking up niggly injuries for the rest of his career. Besides he'd want a fortune in wages and i'm not sure that he's worth it anymore.

Joe Cole would want at least £100,000 a week. No ta.

Foster is way too good to be at SHA, I suspect he'll be off soon

I'd much rather we kept Cuellar than Collins, better defender by a mile

Me too. Cueller is our best centre back and can cover at right back. I'm disappointed to see how little we have used him this year.

I'd love to see us go for Foster, Cahill and Scott Parker. The spine of our team would look very solid then, Foster, Cueller, Cahill, Makoun, Parker, Bent.

Can't see us getting those players though. Sadly.

There's a list of players from each major league who are on a Bosman this season. Mostly players who were good at one time or have names that sound similar to really good players. I can't see many great choices there.

Goal.com - Clicky

N.B. Some of those players may have moved in January or signed new contracts since the lists were created.

I only looked at the english list and Seamus Coleman is the pick of them. He's going to be a really good player. I did'nt realise Luke Young was out of contract. I hope he signs on again. We've looked a but more solid at the back since he's returned.

It looks like we're going to have to replace virtually the entire team then - Friedel, Guzan, L Young, Cuellar, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, Beye, Ireland, Pires, Reo-Coker, Petrov, Carew, Heskey, A Young, Salifou, Osbourne, Walker, Bradley

That's NINETEEN players that look like leaving, returning to their own clubs, or simply aren't good enough to hold down a place, so might as well be leaving.  Add to that rumours that Downing is unsettled.  That's a frightening amount of players to have to replace.

That simply won't happen, we can't let 19 senior players go as we would not have enough time or money to replace them
I suspect the likes of Friedel, Dunne, Collins, Petrov, Heskey will still be here next term

I would let Collins, Dunne, LYoung, Warnock, Beye, Petrov, NRC, Heskey, and Carew go in the summer.

Friedel, Cuellar and Ireland i would wait and see.

I think that GH has been given a different direction to take to MON, and i think that RLwill back GH on good young , up and coming players, such as Gervinhio, and free, cheap older players, such as Taiwo kind of players.

For me in the summer i would sign Huth, or Samba, sign Walker, a good LB, preferably Taiwo, at least one aggressive CM, the one BedsVillain pointed out looks the part, and a creative midfielder.

For me , i would definately buy Tabaarat.........exactly the kind of player we should be going for.If AYoung goes i would sign N'Zogbia or Gervinhio.

2nd striker for me i would go for DJ Campbell tbh
