Not sure if this has been mentioned on the thread already, but Kevin De Bruyne of KRC Genk seems to have a few teams interested in him including us.
Anybody seen him play?

Aston Villa are preparing to add to their squad for another season in the top-flight with a move for defender Pape Diakhate.

Gerard Houllier's side reached the 40-point milestone on Saturday - taking them up to ninth place in the league - leaving the Frenchman free to start planning his first full season in charge at the club.

Diakhate is currently on a season-long loan at Lyon from Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev and has featured in 20 of the club's 31 Ligue 1 matches, sparking Houllier's interest, according to reports in France.

The 26-year-old could add a combative edge to Villa's defence after picking up six yellow cards and one red during his temporary stay at the third placed French club.

The Senegal international began his career as a left-back but is now more at home in the centre of defence, the fact that the 26-year-old speaks English could also encourage Houllier to secure a deal.

That is 2 hard Senegalese defenders we have been linked with now.... hmmmm....

As long as we get one in that is positionally sound I don't care how much they cost, Southgate type at his best alongside Collins would be useful. Clark needs another 12 months as a squad player IMO.

Even though he hasn't featured much yet, I still expect us to sign Bradley. We haven't come close to seeing the best of him.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we did.

It's not like we're going to be blessed with energetic central midfielders next season if we don't.

Really not sure about Bradley. Just does not seem up to pace for the premiership. I suppose that could be worked on in the summer, but is he really worth "waiting" for when there are several up and coming players all over Europe who are there already ??? .......

No chance of us signing Bradley I reckon.  He'll need to have impressed before now and the end of the season for us to part with decent money for him, and I don't think he'll get the chance.

I agree. I'm really suprised too as I thought he'd do well.
But as we havent seen him since Man City its likely we wont be signing him.
Its a shame as he has it in him but coming into this team this season was probably not the best move for him in hindsight.
We couldn't afford for him to find his feet.

I think the Bradley "loan" is the same as the way we loaned Curtis Davies from Boggies.

I also see that Lyon are the new Celtic when it comes to linking us with players!

Here's hoping that McGeady hasn't moved to Lyon!
