Baines would cost £10m plus and is likely to go to Arsenal apparently

Apparently every club looking for a left back has been linked with Izaguirra of Celtic.  Man U were but have signed Evra on a new contract, Liverpool have been mentioned but I assume Warnock will be off there in the summer and Arsenal as they may get rid of Clichy but have Gibbs.  We have been mentioned and appear to be the one club who hasn't resolved the position.

I was impressed with Enrique of Newcastle the other week.  Out of contract in summer of 2012.

I do like the look of that Capote?, BedsVillain.........exactly the kind of player we need. How old is he?

The young Dutch lad, does look a very good prospect at LB as well. Not sure about Naughton tbh, much prefereed Walker , pre-Spuds, and have not seen anything to change my mind.

I would buy Samba to play alongside Clark next year, with a Capote kind of player in front of them.

If Ash goes i would buy N'Zogbia, and if Downing goes i would buy Jarvis.I would also consider Phillips from Bpool, and Sinclair from Swansea if we have the money.

Would'nt be disappointed if we bought a DJ Campbell kind of player as a stand in either.

Probably BS but I heard Kallstrom was at Villa Park today for what it's worth.

At Left back i was very impressed with Enrique when the toon played at Villa, very quick and a good defender. Wouldn't be surprised if he is playing champions league footy next season.

He earns 3.5m Euro's a year so I think his wages are way out of our reach

Lots of interest back in Spain apparently, heard Barca might be in for him as they're short of a left back.  I'm sure we would be first choice though mind!

I think Kallstrom is ace and would thrive in this league. God, it's like my 2005 wishlist coming to life :)

Strong, thunderbolt shot, great range of passing, versatile, good from set pieces and experienced.
Plus we've been lacking scandinavians recently.

Potential squad for next season, completely off the top of my head and a bit of fun:

Green, Westwood, Guzan.
Walker, Young, Sakho, Johnson, Clark, Collins, Taiwo
Kallstrom, Makoun, Parker (c), Delph, Gardner,
Bannan, Larsson, Albrighton, Downing, Gourcuff,
Bent, Agbonlahor, Gignac, Delfouneso, Weimann

You should run the club Mazrim :)

I'll throw one out there for maybe someone to play just behind Bent and play some through balls to him from time to time which he thrives on.

Alexander Hleb?

I'm not saying we should but what about it?

See Pires, Bob.

Well, he's 8 years younger than Bob, but like i said it's just a thought. He wants to go back to Arsenal by the sound of it though (Hleb that is, not Uncle Bob).

Arsenal are bottlers but they're not desperate enough to re-sign somebody who can't get in the Small Heath side.

Forget him, let's get Parker. Or Kaka. Or both.
