I can't see Wilkins leaving london except maybe for Man utd

Perhaps he could hitch a ride with Pires  ;)

Sweet Jesus no.

If someone is intent on making banners, can we please have a very large "No to Robert Green" one at the next home game?

He's dreadful, despite the brilliant save from Ashley.

Dreadful is a bit harsh. There are far better options though.

Yeah, I'm a bit unsure about that one.
Although pre England foul-up he was one of the best keepers in the league. It did affect him but then the same could be said of Robinson, who has come back strongly and is the opposite of Carson, who has not (but was always a bit of a liability anyway).

I think he's kept West Ham respectable on more than one occasion this season after a bungling start and its fair to say he's had a poor defence in front of him.
But there are definitely better options. Unless he's #2 to another keeper, and from his point of view he would feel he could do better than that.

I've had my fill of keepers with crisp packet hands, thank you very much.

I'd rather sign a keeper with no "baggage" but there's a rather large premium on those.

Well lets pay it then, because a shit keeper rips the heart out of a decent defence, and a great keeper can make a shite defence look good.

It's win-win.

I'd take Robinson, Foster, Given and many unknown foreign keepers before I'd look at Green.

I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and say I'd be really pleased if we sign Green.

I think our new keeper will be either Given or Robinson, with my preference being Robinson as he's younger and has been in excellent form this season.

And from a few pages back I'd want to keep Collins.  He's had his issues this season (they all have!) but I think he's a good defender and was actually a bargain for the £5m we got him for.  You sell Dunne, which will show him and others who's boss, and buy 1 new top CB and have that new player plus Collins and Clark for CB.  Then retain Cuellar and Young for extra cover, sign Walker and the much needed left back and our defensive squad looks like:-
Walker - with Cuellar/Young in reserve
New CB (Samba) - with Cuellar
Collins/Clark - competing with each other
New LB - with Young.

Plus Baker and Lichaj that's decent, although not sure Carlos will stick around to be 2nd choice RB and 4th choice CB.

Hmm, I will check this one out.  His ex works for the same company as I do, but obviously in our London office :-).   I'm off this week, but will try and find out if there is any truth when I return.  When I last spoke to her, she told me that they were still friends, so I guess she may know if he is moving out of town.

In terms of his goalkeeping, I'm a bit "meh" on it.  Like the fact that he comes for crosses and tries to command his area more than our current incumbent does, but not sure he is that much of a step up.   Also a very intense individual I understand.

I'd rather have Green in goal than Brad now, that's for sure.
And I'm not having a go at Friedel, I just think it's time to say tarrah a bit.
Isn't Green out of contract in the summer too? Allows us to spend elsewhere.

I'd be happy to take Parker and Green off West Ham's hands this summer.

If we are looking for a left back then we should take a look at Patrick Van Aanholt,  presently on loan at Leicester from Chelsea.
Very similar to Kyle Walker in Style of play, good overlapping wing play with a good shot on him.

Do Leicester actually own any of their starting XI?
