Does anybody know where that rumour came from please?

it wouldnt be a huge surprise if moyes left everton for villa and i guess houllier moving upstairs would also be a positive as he has some good ideas and can enhance our club, equally i wouldnt be too worried if houllier stayed on as manager and reshaped the squad in the summer-he should at least be given until xmas if he wants to continue.

i have felt for a while that moyes will leave everton at the end of the season and there are quite a few everton fans who would welcome his departure as things have become a bit stale for them- maybe everton will be mons next challenge?

On R5 on sat before the Wolves game the reporter said that it got to the point that Everton need Moyes more than he needs them. If he was to leave, they would struggle to find someone who can do as good a job with euch a small budget.

Well that rules MON out then

If only!  From a supposed ITK

"houllier has already came to agreement with lerner to move upstairs in some capacity, possibly in a similar role to commoli at liverpool.

lerner has also had positive contact with moyes and apparantly promised significant funds.

moyes will definately leave everton at the end of the season as they have no money and will sell rodwell with none of the profits being used for new players.

he also spoke to lerner prior to our home game with everton but opted to stay loyal to everton untill the end of the season as he said he owed it to their fans.

now, make what you will of it and please, dont shoot the messenger."

I can only hope!

Moyes wouldn't be my first choice, but we could do alot worse, he'd make us competitive and show we're still an attractive proposition.

I'm sure he could get the best out of Collins and Dunne, hopefully Warnock still goes. In Makoun, Downing, Albrighton and Bent we've quality on the ball, so if he could add a couple of workman like players alongside to toughen us up we'd be in good shape.

Well If he does come , he can bring Baines, Cahill ,coleman,  Arteta and Fellini ..     We would have the start of a bloody good team there.   ;-)

It's from a "supposed itk" how can you doubt the veracity even for a nanosecond?

the difference with moyes compared to MON, is although his teams aren't always nice to watch he always tries to bring in quality players even when the budget is not there to afford them. I'm pretty sure given the right backing he'd play a more attractive style than he has at Everton. MON just used the money to give us a gold-plated version  of the style of play he perfected at Leicester and Celtic

Saw this on the BBC gossip column.

I'd be happy with Moyes but why does Houllier have to stick around?
