I see no reason why Hughes would not be at fulham next year and certainly wouldn't expect him to be here- I think safety would earn GED a crack at things next season and time to rebuild his squad over the summer.

According to an online acronym finder it's either German Emergency Doctors or the General Equivalency Diploma.

Although quite what either of them have to do with us is anybody's guess.

The iPod turns it into capitals dave, it an an abbreviation of Gerard , I didn't see people asking why Martin o neill was referred to as mon but I will refer to our esteemed leader by his surname from now onwards !

Sorry wiki, I was working yesterday , are you saying there are doubts as to whether houllier wishes to continue next year? I would expect him to be relishing a crack at rebuilding in the summer.

Because that's an acronym. Hence the capitals.

Ged is an abbreviation. Hence the lack of capitals.

I'd fuck Ashley Young off, overrated little cheat, along with the deadwood like Beye, Warnock etc. and i'd get Jose Enrique, N'Zogbia and Paul Robinson to replace Friedel. Then i'd get a striker to play alongside Bent as Agbonlahor is shit. Replace the chuckle brothers at centre half aswell.

Oh and Villas Boas to replace Houllier will do nicely.

The fact that you are unable to see past your petty little prejudices and recognise how good a player Ashley Young is renders everything else you say is unworthy of consideration.

I took the liberty of editing your reply Chris. For convenience.

I don't know. I like the villas boas bit.

It was Lawrenson on MOTD2.  Suggested Houllier had the look of a man who could do without all the hassle and may decide to go in the summer

In my ideal world we would retain Houllier as a director and get a new coach on board. It's not that I think Houllier is a bad manager but I think the bridges have already been burned between too many parties (both fans and players).
