Maybe Walker left Cuellar right back and forth.

Haven't seen this posted elsewhere.

According to Bild (The German equivalent of the Sun), we and the baggies are in for Bosnian forward Ibisevic. Currently plays for 1899 Hoffenheim and is valued at 7 million Euro.

Walker took a knock training for England & has been sent home. Not sure if he's going to make the Everton game or not.

According to The Mirror he'll be fit:

Having said that it's The Mirror so he's probably out for the season

I think some of the NRC bashing on here over the years has been harsh
He generally puts a shift in, isn't afraid to mix it, and is a natural leader

You can see any number of people fitting that description in every park on a Sunday morning.

There's plenty to admire about his attitude and application but there is no getting away from as a footballer he is limited. There's a place for him in the squad if he's willing to accept that role but if, as I suspect, he wants to be a a club where he plays every week then he'll have to move on.

Pretty much sums up my opinion on him aswell.

I like what he gives the side, and think his passing isn't as bad as some make out, but for where we were and want to get back to he's only worth a squad place.

However if we're fighting for survival as we are now he'd be one of the first names I'd put on the team sheet.

his passing is fine.. in fact, last time i did a bit of research on it, he was as consistant with his passing percentages as gareth barry, however, he did have the odd shocker in there as well...

the thing with reo-coker and his passing, is that his decision making is not great... whether thats down to poor movement around him, i dont know, but he does seem to wait on the ball before deciding what to do, and by that time, a pass or run isnt always on, and he has to rush what he is doing...

Do stats differentiate between passing well, or passing to someone surrounded by the opposition, or putting a player under immediate pressure with a successful pass.  NRC decision making as to where to pass to and when sometimes is an issue for me, rather than actually getting it to another Villa player

What's all this determination to find fault in NRC ? On the whole he's done really well for us, lifted a trophy, not gobbed off about the club and overall been a model pro (bar the fight at bodymoor with that short Irish fellow)

All I see is people giving on honest assessment of his abilities. As for the "lifted a trophy" that really is desperate.

I think it's the bust up with the short Irish fellow some cannot forgive.
I don't think nige and petrov will both be here next season and given the choice I'd be keeping nige and letting stan go.

And me.  And I liked the 'short Irish fellow'!
